LANGHORNE CREEK

Home to the oldest recorded Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the world and fifth-generation winemaking families, the fertile flood plains of Langhorne Creek produce some of South Australia's most premium wine grapes. Nestled between the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale only an hour from Adelaide, here you can sip wine floating above the vineyards in an architecturally-designed shipping container at Kimbolton Wines, tucked in a renovated stable dating back to 1866 at Bremerton Wines or drink in 160 years of history at Bleasdale.

THE WINEHOUSE
Langhorne Creek

The Winehouse is a quirky eclectic mix of old and new in a relaxed tranquil setting.

The Potts family purchased the “Bremer Café” in 2008 and gave it a new lease of life, along with a new name “The Winehouse”.  The Winehouse was one of the first collaborative cellar doors in SA, allowing a number of producers to sell their wine from the one premise.

The brands that call the Winehouse home are, Gipsie Jack, Ben Potts Wines, John Glaetzer’s John’s Blend, Heartland Wines by Ben Glaetzer and Meechi Brewing Co.

The sprawling back lawned area overlooking picturesque vineyards makes for the perfect backdrop to celebrate your special occasion.

The Winehouse Kitchen has become well known for producing an excellent selection of high quality meals, using locally sourced produce.

  • Thankyou Garry and Michele for making Cathy’s 60th Birthday and celebration one that we will never forget.

Your attention to detail and professional advice to coordinate the surprise arrival at Mollydooker Winery to pick up our children and then flight via coast to The Winehouse at Langhorne Creek for lunch, ensured Cathy’s surprise was memorable.

We had the best day and were able to relax and enjoy quality time as a family.

Without question it was a 5 Star experience.

Thanks again Garry

Regards

BLEASDALE
Langhorne Creek

The philosophy of the Bleasdale winemaking team is to capture the essence of what makes Langhorne Creek red wines so attractive – vibrancy, harmony and texture. Cabernet Sauvignon has elegance and captivating depth of flavour, Shiraz is a ripe fruit style with refined cool climate spice elements and Malbec is perfumed and finely structured.

Bleasdale is rich in history and producing some of Australia’s most exciting, consistently impressive premium wines. Whether a Bleasdale wine is $12 or $70, whether it is a Sparkling Shiraz, a single vineyard Malbec or the Frank Potts Cabernet, it conveys a story in the glass that substantiates its history, diversity and increasingly, its pedigree.
